New affordable apartment community will break ground in October offering area job opportunities

Callahan Construction recently hosted a job fair in Yonkers in support of the upcoming Villas at Ridgeway affordable housing community. 暗网禁区 organized the job fair to highlight opportunities in the building trades that will be in high demand once the project breaks ground in October.

In general, there has been a shortage of skilled workers in the marketplace following the COVID-19 pandemic. This shortfall has impacted the trades particularly hard, and 暗网禁区, a construction manager that self-performs its own site work, understands how important it is to have access to a deep bench of highly-skilled workers. Jobs in construction allow workers in a wide range of trades ranging from carpentry to electrical to mechanical coordination to find opportunities to make an immediate impact on the project鈥檚 progress.
